Pavement Work Begins on Marietta Street on October 10.

Beginning TODAY, Monday, October 10th pavement work will be done at night along Marietta Street west of Cone Street and along Centennial Olympic Park Drive south of Luckie Street. Beginning each night at 7:00 pm existing pavement milling, then re-paving and then striping (one after the other along the corridor) will be done overnight to avoid traffic impacts.

Extra effort will be taken to ensure the work is conducted as quietly as possible. Due to working at night, pavement work in this area can be completed on an accelerated schedule and should take less than 2 weeks to complete (if the weather cooperates.)
