Playoff Fever with Atlanta Dream & Braves

October 4,2013

The Atlanta Dream continues to excel, coming off a sweep of Indiana to reach the WNBA Finals for the third time in four years.  It’s a remarkable accomplishment given that the franchise is only in its sixth season of existence!

The Braves are also back in their rightful place, having won another National League Eastern Division, and taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers for the right to get to the National League Championship Series.

In fact, all four major professional sports teams in Atlanta have made their postseasons for the second straight year!  The excitement of a winning season makes us proud to be in Atlanta and underscores that we’re a great sports town!

The Atlanta Dream opens at Minnesota in game one (Sunday, 8:30 p.m. EDT, ESPN) and two (Tuesday, 8:00 p.m., ESPN2), then hosts Game 3 on Thursday, October 10 at 8:30 p.m., and (if needed) Sunday, October 13 at 8:00 p.m. at Gwinnett Arena.  Purchase your tickets at http://www.axs.com/series/279/atlanta-dream-playoff-games-tickets?skin=gwinnett

The Braves host Los Angeles tonight at 6:07 p.m. in game 2 of their best-of-5 NLDS.   Tickets are available at http://atlanta.braves.mlb.com/atl/ticketing/postseason_info.jsp?partnerId=DC-9418354-23796146434-10112434-95942434.
