Sweet Georgia Juke Joint Opens

Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint is officially welcoming Atlantans to drink, dine and socialize in its Dew downtown location in the old Macy’s building. The restaurant/bar is decorated with 1970s album covers and is meant to invoke days gone by. The first Sweet Georgia's opened at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport and still serves customers on Concourse D.

Live music and jukebox tunes keep the crowd entertained and Southern comfort food fills bellies to the brim. Standout menu items include a barbecue pork rib basket and The Famous Seadog—battered cod served on a hot dog bun and topped with cole slaw.
