The Food Trucks are Coming Downtown to Underground Atlanta

Every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

On the heels of its popular Live at Lunch series, Underground Atlanta is excited to expand its lunchtime offerings to Downtowners! In partnership with the Atlanta Street Food Coalition, Underground Atlanta will welcome the popular Food Truck program on Wednesday’s beginning July 6, 2011. A variety of Food Trucks will roll onto Upper Alabama Street to serve Downtown office workers, students and residents their popular specialty eats and treats from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.

“We are excited to partner with Atlanta Street Food Coalition on Food Truck Wednesday at Underground Atlanta,” said William P. “Chick” Ciccaglione, General Manager. “Having the opportunity to welcome the downtown business community, residents, tourists and students through this partnership is just one of the perks. This partnership also serves as a great addition to our existing dining choices and programming as well as supports a popular community initiative.”

“I am extremely excited to bring the trucks to Underground Atlanta,” said Greg Smith with Atlanta Street Food Coalition. “The area is perfect for a lunch time food truck event because of the huge number of office workers, governmental employees, and students within just 5-6 blocks of Upper Alabama Street. Given the potential for this location, we will be sure to bring extra food for opening day!”
