Woodruff Park is looking for recreation facilitation volunteers! We have a brand new recreation cart arriving at the end of May—it will be filled with yard games, board games, and all kinds of park activities. We are looking for friendly people to staff the cart, help facilitate its activation, and monitor the cart assets. This is a great volunteer opportunity for people who love to be outside, meet new and interesting people, and want to help build a community in the park. Woodruff Park is a valuable public resource and we need your help to make it a more vibrant place for everyone to enjoy!

Hours:

• Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 10:30am-2:30pm

• Wednesday (two shifts): 10:30am-2:30pm, 2:00pm-7:00pm

• Closed Sunday and Monday

• Cart will be closed for inclement weather, including rain and extreme heat

• Looking for minimum 20 hours and one shift per month commitment from each volunteer, but more is welcome!

• Once the base hours are covered, we will consider being open at other times of the day and days of the week.

This Year’s Dates: June 10 – November 18, 2017
