A New Chapter for The Stitch

Earlier this year, we took several important steps toward making The Stitch vision a reality with the formation of Stitch Inc, the appointment of its inaugural Board of Directors, and the execution of agreements with The City of Atlanta and Invest Atlanta to implement The Stitch Master Plan. These are all major, key steps in moving The Stitch from vision to reality>

The newly formed nonprofit will help guide the project through implementation, overseeing everything from construction and operations to the long-term care and programming of the future park. Bringing together leaders from across business, government, and the Downtown community, the board reflects the collaborative spirit that has always been at the heart of The Stitch. 

The inaugural Stitch Inc. board includes:

• Ron Alston, Senior Vice President, not-for-profit and government banking - Truist Bank
• Tom Boyer, General Manager - The Westin Peachtree Plaza
• Jason Dozier, Atlanta City Council, District 4
• Craig Jones - representing International Market Centers 
• Patrick Kassin, Development Partner - Woodfield Development
• John McColl, Executive Vice President of Development  - Cousins Properties
• Nichole Miles-Sullivan, Atlanta Region Executive - Georgia Power
• Granvel Tate, Vice President/Real Estate Operations - Invest Atlanta
• Rian Smith, Vice President and Chief Counsel - The Integral Group

As part of this transition, Jack Cebe stepped into the role of CEO and President of Stitch, Inc., providing continuity and leadership as the project moves forward.

The work ahead remains ambitious, but with dedicated leadership and a growing coalition of supporters (including you!), we're excited for what comes next. Every partnership formed, every community conversation held, and every organizational step taken helps bring us closer to a future where Atlanta's urban core is more connected, accessible, and welcoming for everyone.
