Underground Atlanta Farmers Market brings locally produced food to the underserved communities of downtown Atlanta. Their mission is to provide substantial locally sourced food from Georgia growers and producers, serving and nourishing our unhoused community. The Underground Atlanta Farmers Market provides a place for local makers, producers, and growers to thrive as entrepreneurs and serve the community by giving back.

Founded in 1918 as an open-air market, The Municipal Market opened the doors to its new building in 1924. Referred to as the Curb Market by locals, it houses thirty local businesses, including produce, butchers, seafood, a full-service bakery, a cooking school, and ten of the most popular eateries in the city.

The MARTA Market (MMs) is a pop-up farm stand that takes place in seven MARTA public transport stations. The goal is simple: help farmers sell more produce while getting healthy, fresh food into places where people already are! MARTA’s goal is for MMs to be a primary retail component of all future transit-oriented developments, demonstrating long-term commitment to supporting a local food economy.
