Downtown Day is an all-day celebration of the people, places, and progress shaping the heart of Atlanta. Other things to do!
When it comes to dining, Downtown has over 300 options, with more being added every week. From cheap and cheerful eats to full-on fine dining.
A great place to start at lunch time, if you've never been to Downtown, is the Broad Street Boardwalk. Whether you're in the mood for burritos or bubble tea, sandwiches or smoothies, falafel or pho – you'll find something to satisfy your appetite on Broad Street.
The newest addition to the offerings is Peppers Hot Dogs in the Flatiron building, but don't miss out on Stir House if you're a vegan, Rosas if pizza is your preference, or Taqueria on Broad if Mexican is on your mind. For a local lunchtime classic, try Reubens Deli, who have been serving up sandwiches with a side of attitude since 1996... and we're thrilled they've finally decided to open for dinner!

The Sweet Auburn Curb Market has been around for over 100 years, and with good reason! Home of 30+ local businesses, including grocery, retail stores and small eateries the Curb Market is always a delight to visit.
For dinner options, Cafe Momentum isn't a "normal" restaurant; it has a mission at the heart of every meal. The restaurant transforms young lives by equipping the community's justice-involved youth with life skills, education, and employment, so they can achieve their full potential.
Another must-try dining experience is the spaceship-shaped Polaris at the Hyatt Regency; the views from the 22nd floor alone are worth the journey, and the food is also out of this world.
And for those of you with a sweet tooth, we can not stress enough that you have to order the lemon and peach desserts at Hansel and Gretel Bakery Cafe.

If you're looking for a libation or something to wet your whistle, we recommend grabbing a coffee from Spiller Park on historic hotel row.
If you need something stronger, Sports Bar The Vick, which opened in the Healy Building this summer, will be serving $5 martinis and letting you grab the mic for some karaoke.
For the 1920s Prohibition-era experience, The Red Phone Booth has been boasting the best old-fashioned cocktails in the country. Still, their other craft cocktails are definitely something to speak easy about.
Art lovers can experience The Space Within in Woodruff Park where sculpture meets soundscape.
The Hawks get the season started on October 22nd, which is their opening night. We recommend going to Wild Leap Brewery for a pre-game craft beer and taking the Steele Bridge over to the Arena.
Wednesdays at Side Bar mean you can walk into the beautiful building in the Fairlie Poplar District and hear a live DJ and comedy show.
Singer-songwriter Sombr is performing his Late Nights and Young Romance tour at the beloved Tabernacle.
Indie rock band Minus the Bear is reuniting on the Heaven stage at the Masquerade.

Make a masterpiece...and a mess... at Spin Art Nation.
Pick up a present for a little in your life at Brown Toybox.
Shop for groceries and pick up a sweet treat at Goodr on Edgewood.
Go for a walk in Woodruff Park to see the renderings for the new dog park....Should we change the
name to WoodRUFF Park?
Select your dream apartment at The Mitchell, and while you're there, book a stay at the Hotel Phoenix, which will open later this year at Centennial Yards!
Stop and snap a selfie by one of the brand new murals on the Westin Peachtree Plaza or the American Hotel.

Or, you can go to any of the fantastic places on this list.
We've invited some very special friends, including Mayor Andre Dickens, to join us on Wednesday, October 22nd, so keep your eyes peeled, as you never know who you'll run ito in the A.
We can't wait to see all of you Downtown on Downtown Day!
