The Downtown Atlanta Inc. Spring 2026 Town Hall was a success!
Thank you to everyone who joined us bright and early at the Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State this Wednesday. 300 of you showed up to listen, learn, and have your thoughtful questions answered.
A huge thank you to all of the amazing speakers.
Amy Reid, Director of the Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State, gave us a preview of the 2026-27 season, getting us all geared up to get our tickets.
Greg Bluestein, Chief Political Reporter at the AJC, shared deep insight into our May primaries and the midterm elections. Hope you’ll follow Greg for the latest political news.
APD’s Major Brian Schiffbauer, Special Events Division, APD shared important FIFA preparedness details - you can view his slides here.
Lamar Stewart, Interim Executive Director of Showcase Atlanta, talked about Showcase Atlanta’s push for us to build on generational events to make Atlanta stronger every time. (Next big event: Super Bowl LXII in February 2028!)
Atlanta Downtown Inc. shared news about Downtown pop-up retail, public art installations including murals, and art activation during Fan Fest. And Downtown ATL reported on all the spiffing up we’re doing with tree trimmings, fence painting, graffiti removal, and lots of beautiful seasonal color.
