The Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday is celebrated by millions of people worldwide and serves multiple purposes: it honors the total legacy of King; focuses on the issue of civil rights; highlights the use of nonviolence to create the beloved community; and calls people to engage in the work of creating a world of peace with justice. The King Center will host a variety of virtual programs from January 10th - 17th.
