New York filmmaker Razid Season's acclaimed 'Elijah' gets its regional premiere at the Atlanta Underground Film Festival as part of its Official Selection on August 8 at 2 pm at the Limelight Theater.
The film follows a South Asian Muslim cab driver who faces mounting pressure in New York City-from financial hardship due to the collapse of taxi medallion values in New York and fading dreams to his daughter's coming out as transgender-forcing him to reexamine the limits of his love and understanding.

Atlanta indie cinephiles will be able to see the film at the festival.
