Details
Join us for a unique reimagining of Jane Austen's beloved novel, produced by the ASC in collaboration with Belle Esprit.
Emma Woodhouse has it all: beauty, wealth, status, wit. She also has a talent for matchmaking, and delights in pairing off the eligible men and women in town, much to the chagrin of her disapproving friend Mr. Knightley. But when Emma decides to find a husband for her protégée Harriet Smith, she sets off a chain of events that could break several hearts…including her own.
Written by Claire F. Martin (Pride & Prejudice and Sense & Sensibility), this whimsical adaptation brings a fresh theatricality to the story of Austen’s iconic antiheroine and her quest for fulfillment in a world designed for men. Belle Esprit is thrilled to bring this Regency rom-com to Atlanta and the ASC.
