Atlanta Bike Challenge: Biketober

Georgia Commute Options is kicking off another year of Biketober, the Atlanta region’s favorite bike challenge. 

During the entire month of October, hop on a bike and get some fresh air! You can ride anywhere, anytime throughout October, for just 10 minutes or more. We encourage you to register your worksite and compete as a team against other metro Atlanta organizations. If your company does not have a bike team, you can also encourage your coworkers to ride solo or in one of many local social teams already on the Biketober website.

How to Participate:

  1. Sign up - Register for the 2020 Biketober challenge by September 30th to enter a raffle for a $1000 REI Gift Card
    - Log in (if you've taken part before); or
    - Create a new profile

  1. Enjoy a bike ride(s)

  2. Log the rides on your profile or connect your favorite cycling app (Strava, Endomondo, or MapMyRide)

  3. Earn points, climb the leaderboards, and enter the prize drawings!

How do I earn points?

Earn points as an individual by:

Your workplace and team points will be the sum of all points earned by every person taking part in your company or team on Love to Ride.

Benefits of participating in Biketober:

Getting outside and cycling is not only a great way to jumpstart your healthy routine, it’s also a great way to show some team spirit.
