The Atlanta Municipal Market, Atlanta’s oldest public market, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, June 5, from 10 to 11 a.m. to celebrate four new businesses joining the historic market.

Located just minutes from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta, the Sweet Auburn destination continues to grow as a go-to spot for global eats and affordable pre-game and post-game dining experiences.

The event highlights the Market’s continued role as a small business hub, entrepreneurial incubator, and cultural destination in the heart of Atlanta. Home to more than 30 locally owned businesses, the Municipal Market serves as a launching pad for entrepreneurs representing Atlanta’s diverse communities. All four new businesses are minority-owned, including several women-owned businesses, further reflecting the Market’s commitment to supporting diverse entrepreneurs in Atlanta.

The ceremony will recognize the following new merchants:
- Retro Grill Atlanta, serving burgers, sandwiches, and seafood
- Dolce Tropical, serving frozen desserts inspired by Mexican street snacks
- A Taste of Secrets (A.T.O.S.), serving Spanish cuisine with Jamaican spices
- Edgewood Pizza, serving pizza, salads, and sides
