Atlanta’s favorite fall family Halloween festival is back at Boo at the Zoo presented by Georgia Natural Gas. The event returns for 2020 on Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18; Saturday and Sunday, October 24 and 25; and Halloween Saturday, October 31.

On all five days, Boo-goers of all ages will enjoy a Zoo decked with Halloween décor as they sample sweet treats and enjoy the sights of whimsical Zoo Boo Town. In keeping with Zoo Atlanta’s current timed ticketing system, advance timed reservations are required for all Zoo guests and Members. Visit the Boo at the Zoo event page on zooatlanta.org for more on reservations and procedures in place to promote wellness.

Long known in Atlanta for its “merry, not scary” approach to Halloween, especially for families with younger children, Boo at the Zoo will offer a one-way trick-or-treat station path and a stop by Boo Town Square for special entertainment, all in the home of more than 1,000 animals from around the world.

In line with the Zoo’s protocols for preventing the spread of COVID-19, masks are required for all guests ages 10 and up. While costumes are encouraged, costume masks will not be permitted for guests 10 and up. Certain optional paid experiences, such as giraffe feeding, Treetop Trail, the Endangered Species Carousel, and Zoo train, require masks for guests ages 2 and up.

Boo at the Zoo is free for Zoo Atlanta Members and children under 3; free with general admission. Learn more or make a reservation at zooatlanta.org.
