About the Event
Good morning, Downtown! Grab a cup of coffee and join host A.J. Robinson, CAP/ADID President, for an hour-long morning news show featuring guest appearances from a few of the City’s best and brightest. We’ll reflect on 2020, celebrate the people and institutions impacting our community, and explore trends to anticipate in the year ahead. Tune in for this special blend of entertainment and information that’s sure to get you buzzed about Downtown.
Our 2021 Annual Meeting & Awards Tribute will be presented virtually and is free and open to the public, creating opportunity for our most accessible and far-reaching event in our 80-year history. Make plans to tune in on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 8:00 a.m.
Each year we award leaders and institutions that have had an indelible impact on Downtown Atlanta with the following:
- The Dan & Tally Sweat Award - presented to Alicia Philipp
- The WarnerMedia Community Leadership Award - paying tribute to Downtown Atlanta healthcare workers
- The Marcus Downtown Economic Impact Award - presented to State Farm Arena, the Atlanta Hawks, and Tony Ressler
The Atlanta Downtown Improvement will also present the following awards:
- ADID Ambassador of the Year - presented to Lorne Coleman
- ADID Clean Team Member of the Year - presented to Eric Ponder
- Atlanta Police Department Zone 5 Officer of the Year - presented to Officer Jamie Wallace
