Know your rights. Use your rights. Learn how the Civil Rights Movement paved the way for your current rights today, what these rights are and how you can use them.

In celebration of Human Rights Day at the Center for Civil and Human Rights, you are cordially invited to attend our Human Rights 101 workshop. Held the weekend before Human Rights Day, Saturday December 8th is designed to inform today’s youth on their rights as human beings. After a self-guided tour of The Center from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM, students will participate in a variety of workshop activities. Workshop themes addressed include: Knowing your rights as a citizen, what are your Global human rights, and how to protect rights for all. Additionally, students will participate in a reflective human rights painting activity. Lunch is provided for all student participants, with registration. High school student Admission to this workshop is FREE, with valid student ID. Please register today!
