Grab your spring fling or longtime love and get to Oakland Cemetery for a unique outdoor date night – Love Stories of Oakland: Spring Date Night is back by popular demand! Enjoy more than 20 tour stops through Oakland’s Victorian garden cemetery as we recount the loves, lives, and losses of Atlantans of days past. Love Stories of Oakland also examines the symbolism of love and devotion found on monuments, headstones, and mausoleums throughout the grounds.

75-minute long tours will take place at 6:00, 6:15, 6:30, 6:45, and 7:00 p.m.

The 7:00 Love Stories tour will feature a special accessible route through Oakland Cemetery. Perfect for visitors with mobility needs, the 7:00 tour route will take flat and smooth pathways that are accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. We will also have three open golf cart seats available on a first come, first served basis for those with mobility issues. Please email Marcy Breffle at mbreffle@oaklandcemetery.com to reserve your seat.

Arrive at Oakland’s Bell Tower at least 15 minutes before the start of your tour to check in and enjoy a 10 percent discount in the Museum Shop. You can also have a complimentary drink on the porch before your tour and get some love advice from the Victorians.

Make it an evening to remember with a post-tour dinner date at Agaveone of our community partners. See details below.

Note: Parking inside the cemetery is limited, so please consider parking in the lot outside of Oakland’s front gate or on surrounding side streets.
