Details

No Kid Hungry, a national campaign to end childhood hunger in America, will unveil a large-scale mural painted by local artist George F. Baker III in Old Fourth Ward (486 Edgewood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA). The colorful mural is inspired by the perspective of local ATL children on how they hungered for connection during the pandemic, their vision for a better future, and the recovery ahead.

A micro-documentary bringing to light the stories behind this Atlanta mural will also be released to help show what life has been like in the wake of the pandemic for local families and kids, and how schools and community groups have revamped their efforts to feed their communities in times of crisis and beyond. It can be viewed on the campaign website starting Aug. 26.
