Passport Day

In fiscal year 2018, the U.S. Department of State processed a record breaking 20 million passport applications and they anticipate those numbers will rise in 2019.

The Atlanta Passport Agency is hosting two March Passport Days on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 and Saturday, March 23, 2019.  These two events are a convenient way to apply for children, apply for the first time, or renew your passport.  U.S. passport holders who will have less than six months validity on their passports should consider renewing their passports now. Some foreign countries require up to 6 months of validity on your passport to enter.  Processing time for routine service is 3-4 weeks and 2-3 weeks for expedite service.  Expedite service costs an additional $60. 

 

Days:  Tuesday, March 12, 2019 and Saturday, March 23, 2019

 

Time:  8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Cost for First Time Applicants: $145 for adults

                                                    $115 for minors under age 16

 

Cost for Renewal: $110 adults

Expedite Processing Fee: $60

                 

Payment:  Credit card, personal check, exact cash (no change is given).       

 

Applicants will be seen on a first come, first serve basis and no appointment is necessary.
