When school is out, Camp is in!

We are here to engage and excite your young learners ages 5-11 during Spring Break.
Safari Camp is a great opportunity to engage young explorers in learning about the wild world around them and beginning their journey of conservation stewardship. Through Zoo explorations, up-close animal encounters, STEAM-based projects, hands-on science activities, environmental games and more, campers learn about attainable strategies and goals to combat environmental issues and are charged with finding simple ways that they can make a difference.

Age Range: 5-11

SPRING BREAK CAMP THEME:
Predator-Prey, or Are They?: Predators and Prey. Two roles that convey the critical relationship between an animal that eats, and an animal that gets eaten. This week, campers will take a close look at what makes a predator a predator, and what makes a prey a prey. What adaptations does one have that the other lacks? At the end of the week, campers will pull a reverse card on their favorite predator-prey relationship. What happens when an owl is hunted by a mouse? A tiger by a deer? Explore with us as we re-imagine some of our favorite, wild, wildlife!
