Wisdom of Atlanta: Wisdom of Atlanta transforms the city’s collective experiences into a living installation of curiosity and shared humanity. Through a combination of 3D animation created in VR, motion tracking tech, and projection mapping, Boehm invites participants to enter a playful yet thoughtful interaction with a fortune teller who channels advice from strangers across the city.

About ATL DTN Artist in Residence, Shelly Boehm: Shelly Boehm is a 3D artist based in Atlanta whose practice blends whimsy, color, and emotion through immersive, tech-forward storytelling. With a background in animation, projection design, and interactive environments, Boehm brings a uniquely imaginative vision to her projects. Her work has been featured at national events like BLINK Cincinnati and combines digital artistry with meaningful community engagement. Follow her on Instagram @Shelly.3D
About the ATL DTN Artist Residency: The ATL DTN Artist Residency supports metro Atlanta-based artists in the creation of bold, tech-forward public art experiences in Downtown Atlanta. Hosted at the Public Art Futures Lab, the residency provides selected artists with funding, studio access, and production support to develop experimental projects that merge art and technology. Through this initiative, three artists each year are empowered to create site-responsive activations that engage the public, reflect the vibrancy of Atlanta’s urban core, and explore new modes of storytelling, interactivity, and community connection. The residency represents a shared commitment to fostering innovation, cultural expression, and inclusive access to emerging creative tools.
