DOWNTOWN DAFFODIL DASH
Thank you to everyone who made our first-ever Downtown Daffodil Dash a success! Stay tuned for details about the 2018 race.
The Downtown Daffodil Dash 5k run and walk is part of the international award-winning Downtown Daffodil Project. The Dash is a 3.1-mile race and fun run that allows participants to tour some of Atlanta’s oldest neighborhoods, newest developments, and most iconic landmarks. From restaurants and hotels to retail stores, world class attractions, corporate offices and a major university, this event will showcase the very best of what Downtown has to offer.
Downtown Daffodil Dash participants have the opportunity to be part of the international award-winning Downtown Daffodil Project, which supports Am Yisrael Chai! and the worldwide Daffodil Project's mission to plant 1.5 million daffodils around the world to remember and celebrate the lives of children experiencing humanitarian crises. Featuring more than 240,000 daffodils in full bloom each spring, the Downtown Daffodil Project is the largest installment of the worldwide Daffodil Project and creates a ribbon of consciousness between the King Center and the Center for Civil and Human Rights. Plant a bulb, honor a child.
The 2017 Downtown Daffodil Dash was made possible by Delta Air Lines, Hughes Turner Phillips, and Outfront Media and produced by Central Atlanta Progress and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District.
