About Doggy Con

Doggy Con features a pet parade and costume contest, plus a vendor village of dog-centric goods and activities, a yappy hour social, and plenty of pup culture. Join us in paying homage to Dragon Con, one of the world’s largest pop culture conventions, while competing for drool-worthy prizes. From Harry Pawter to BatDog and Robin, there’s room for everyone at Doggy Con.

NEW: This year's event will also feature the unveiling of a new Tiny Doors ATL door.

Event schedule: 10:00-11:00 am: Registration and check-in | 11:00-12:00 pm: Pet parade & costume contest + prize ceremony | 12:00-1:00 pm: Tiny Door #17 unveiling + yappy hour social

Doggy Con is presented by ADID and Georgia's Own Credit Union, with support from Bark ATL.

The Pet Parade & Costume Contest

This year's panel of costume contest judges features Dr. Will and Dr. Fran of The Village Vets, Atlanta-based comic book artist Jarrett Williams, Tiny Doors ATL artist Karen Anderson, and Punk Rock Milo, doggo-in-residence at The Masquerade. The contest will be emceed by local media personality Mara Davis.

Prizes (from Dragon Con, Biscuits and Belly Rubs, Whole Dog Market, The Clean Dog, Big Daddy Biscuits, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, PetSmart, Fetch Park & Ice House, Atlanta Movie Tours, and more) will be awarded in three categories: Best in Show, Best Doggie/Owner “Con-bo,” and Best Cosplay Costume.
