Pursuant to the Atlanta Community Improvement District Act (the “Act”), a caucus of electors of the Downtown Atlanta Community Improvement District (“DACID”) will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Central Atlanta Progress at 84 Walton Street, Suite 500, Atlanta, GA, 30303 at 8:30 a.m.
The purpose of this caucus of electors will be to elect three (3) board members, each of whom will serve a four-year term. As provided in the Act, two (2) board members will be elected on the basis of one vote for each $1,000 (or fraction thereof) in assessed value of the property owned by the elector, as determined by the Fulton County tax assessor’s office, and one (1) board member will be elected based on the number of votes.
In order to vote at the caucus of electors, one must:
- own real property within the DACID that is subject to DACID taxes, fees and assessments (“DACID taxes”); or
- be an officer or director of a corporate property owner within the DACID whose property is subject to DACID taxes; or
- be a trustee of a trust that owns property within the DACID subject to DACID taxes; or
- be a partner of a partnership that owns property within the DACID subject to DACID taxes; or
- be designated, in writing, as the representative of a property owner in the DACID whose property is subject to DACID taxes.
All voters must provide evidence at registration satisfying one of the foregoing five categories. Registration of electors to vote in this caucus of electors will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Voting will begin at 8:45 a.m. All property owners within the DACID, or their designated representatives, are encouraged to attend. No proxy voting is allowed. Immediately following the election, the newly elected DACID board will convene.
