10 Food Truck Gatherings to Attend For Tasty Eats This Summer

In the past few years food trucks have exploded in popularity in Atlanta, and there are lots of opportunities to find your favorite local food trucks gathered together this summer.

From burgers to tacos, Italian to Hibachi, and from ice pops to carnival food, you can find a wide range of meal, snack and dessert options at a food truck gathering.

These are perfect opportunities to meet some friends, roam from truck to truck sampling dishes and soak up some sun.

Whether you are indecisive and want lots of options, enjoy piecing together eclectic dishes or simply want an easy meal for an outdoor picnic, these food truck gatherings are the perfect spots to grab a quick bite this summer.

FOOD TRUCK FRIDAYS

Where: Woodruff Park; 91 Peachtree St. NW, Atlanta

When: Through July 27, Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Gather at Woodruff Park along Peachtree Street, between Poplar and Luckie Streets, for this special lunchtime event downtown. The fare available can include carnival food, Philly cheesesteaks, sushi, burgers, Korean street food and more, with participating trucks rotating each week. Check the website for each week’s participants. There will be live music by local performers and café seating with umbrellas throughout the park.
