As a program of Central Atlanta Progress and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, Downtown Connects provides employers with solutions to ease congestion during peak commute times, reduce pollution, and improve the commute experience. While representing members’ concerns at local, regional, and statewide planning levels, we provide technical services and other benefits tailored to your worksite.
Downtown Connects provides free assistance to Downtown employers, property managers, and commuters who would like to implement transportation solutions at their companies and change their commutes to reduce the number of single-occupancy vehicle trips. After an on-site analysis of your worksite, we will develop a customized strategy to meet the transportation needs of both the employer and employees.

Transportation Demand Management
Commuting is a necessity for most of today’s work force; however, population increases and changing attitudes and technologies are pushing us to reconsider how we get to and from the workplace.
Transportation Demand Management (TDM) helps people use the current transportation infrastructure in a more balanced manner; it helps people meet their travel needs by using different modes, traveling at different times, making fewer trips or shorter trips, or taking different routes.
