Arts & Entertainment Atlanta (A&E Atlanta) is a neighborhood activation and economic development project for Downtown Atlanta. The program fuses new outdoor media, local art, and advertising and funds cultural and public space programming in the city’s core. By creating light, vitality, and activity, A&E Atlanta authentically reflects the vibrancy of Atlanta as a whole.
Arts & Entertainment Atlanta will be kicking off a grant program for City of Atlanta artists and/or arts organizations activating projects in Downtown Atlanta. Grant amounts will range from $500-$10,000.
Application Opens: Friday, August 14, 2020 9:00am EST
Application Deadline: Friday, September 11, 2020 5:00pm EST
For this first grant cycle, funds will be awarded to artists and organizations by October 31, 2020 for general operations and/or projects occurring before May 3, 2021.
Artists and organizations must have a proven commitment to the Downtown Atlanta arts & culture community to receive funding.
Artists may apply to receive project-based funding.
Organizations may apply for project-based or general operations funding.
Projects funded by this grant must take place in Downtown Atlanta, with a strong preference for projects located within the Arts & Entertainment Atlanta district (see district map below). If selected for the grant, we will require grantees to provide a letter from a property manager or partnering organization to confirm location.
Organizations receiving funds for general operations must be located in or have a proven commitment to the district. (see district map)
Artists and organizations will be required to include A&E logo on their website sponsor page, onsite (sponsor wall or window), and any collateral associated with grant award.
