Though Downtown Atlanta has experienced a significant reduction in daytime foot traffic due to the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses that call this Atlanta neighborhood home are reimagining their operations to continue serving customers and keep their doors open.

 

Ted’s Montana Grill Creates Online Shop

Ted's Montana Grill, headquartered in Downtown at the corner of Ted Turner Drive and Luckie Street, now offers a safe, convenient way to purchase premium steak cuts and fresh burger grinds for next day delivery with its Butcher Shoppe program. Ted’s Butcher Shoppe features American bison raised without hormones or steroids and premium beef. The aged steaks are hand-cut to order and the high-quality meat is ground twice daily before safely packaging to arrive fresh, never frozen.

 

Peachtree Center Eateries Offer Free Delivery

Order from participating restaurants in The Hub at Peachtree Center and get free delivery within 5 miles of Peachtree Center, thanks to their Peachtree Plated program, a unique partnership with Zifty. Grady Launches “Food As Medicine” Market

Grady Health System’s recently-opened Jesse Hill Market offers all members of the Grady community – patients, families, employees, visitors, and neighbors – access to healthy, affordable food in partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Open Hand Atlanta. Located just outside Grady’s main entrance in the Butler Parking Deck, Jesse Hill Market is a public café offering nutritious, affordable prepared meals, grab-and-go entrees and sides, and local, fresh produce, at the first retail location of Atlanta’s own Good Measure Meals.

 

Georgia Beer Garden Boasts “Downtown’s Largest Backyard”

During its first phase of reopening, this beloved bar on Edgewood Avenue has opened its pet-friendly backyard for socially distant dining, drinking, and large-screen viewings of movies, sporting events, and more. They are also offering food and drinks to go, catering orders, and a space for private events for parties of 10 or less. Masks are required for pick up and entry. The business has committed to the O4W Business Association Pledge to Public Health at the second++ tier.
